Room Hire

The Bowdon Club has two rooms available for rent for parties, receptions, exercise classes, meetings, exhibitions, conferences, wedding receptions and funeral wakes. The main Pavilion Room and the upstairs Club Room.

Room capacities:

Pavilion Room with dance floor, seated 70, buffet 100

Pavilion Room without dance floor, seated 90, buffet 120

Club Room capacity 60.

Room facilities:

The Pavilion Room has both bar and catering facilities.

It is not available for hire on Saturday nights.

The Club Room is usually reserved for children’s parties, as it does not have bar or catering facilities. Children’s parties are often combined with a session renting the Club’s synthetic pitch. The Club's water based synthetic pitch can be used for the playing of hockey, junior football, kwik cricket, lacrosse or tag rugby under the hirer’s supervision. Because of regular Club bookings, Pitch Parties are only available on Friday nights and at the week-end.

The Club Room is also excellent for hire for exercise classes, exhibitions and meetings.

Price Indicators:

Pavilion Room:    All Day            £250.00

                           Evening Only   £150.00

Club Room:        All Day            £200.00 (plus VAT)

                           Evening Only   £120.00 (plus VAT)

Pitch Party

(1 hour on ½ pitch & 2 hours use of room)            £60.00 (plus VAT)

Room Hire Condition Deposits:

50% of the total room hire fee or £50.00 whichever is the less.

Hirers must be over 21 years of age.

Bar Closing Times (Pavilion Room only):

23.00 if no food has been served: latest finish time: 23.30

24.00 if food has been served:     latest finish time: 00.30

Hiring of Sports Facilities  

The Club's sports facilities can be hired separately from the club rooms.

The Club's water based synthetic pitch can be used for the playing of hockey, junior football, kwik cricket, pop lacrosse or tag rugby.

The Club's four squash courts can be hired for squash or racket ball.

The main cricket field can be hired for cricket, rounders or softball.
