HOCKEY – JUNIOR SECTION NEW SEASON 2010/11
Bowdon Hockey Club Junior Section is pleased to announce the start of the 2010-11 season. We are starting with a Junior Registration Evening which begins at 5.30pm on Monday 6th September with fun hockey on the Wet Pitch. Registration from 6.45pm. We look forward to welcoming back junior players from last season as well as any new junior players. All standards are welcome from beginners upwards. Training will take place on our Bowdon wet pitch.

Mini-Hockey (U11 yrs) is held on Sundays through the season from 10.00 am to 11.30 am where sticks are provided for those that require them, and you pay just £5 per session and no annual subscription is due.
Junior Hockey (11 - 14 yrs) and Development Hockey (15 – 18 yrs) Weekly training takes place throughout the season, where an annual training fee of £55 is to be paid (Cheques payable to Bowdon Hockey Club) and the player also pays an annual subscription. Prompt payment of subscriptions and fees are appreciated to assist in the financial running of the club. The training fee includes a free reversible training bib.

Under 11 Junior Mini Hockey (2000 birth year or later): Sunday 10.00am – 11.30am at Bowdon. (Pay as you Go £5 per session). Starts Sunday 12th September
Junior Girls (1996, ’97, ’98 or ‛99 birth year): Monday 5.30pm – 6.30pm at Bowdon.
Junior Boys (1996, ’97, ’98 or ’99 birth year): Thursday 5.30pm – 6.30pm at Bowdon.
Development (1992. ’93, ’94 or ‘95 birth year): , Wednesday 6.00 pm – 7pm at Bowdon.
Bowdon Hockey Club is accredited under England Hockey's "Clubs 1st" scheme and has received Sport England's "Clubmark" award. As such the Club is recognised as working towards providing a safe, effective and child friendly hockey environment.
