BOWDON JUNIOR HOCKEY

SEASON 2011-12 

Welcome everyone to another new season at Bowdon Hockey Club.
  Following on from the success of previous seasons we are looking forward to another year of fun, development and hopefully some top hockey along the way. 
 
We are going to kick start the season next week with BACK TO HOCKEY WEEK. 
There will be fun game based sessions for all mid week training groups to help everyone get back into the swing of things. 

Monday the 5th 17.15 – 18.30 Junior Girls (School Year 7-9)
Wednesday the 7th 17.30 – 18.30 Development Boys and Girls (school year 10-13)
Thursday the 8th 17.15 – 18.30 Junior boys (school Year 7-9) 
 

THESE TRAINING TIMES FOR EACH AGE GROUP WILL REMAIN THE SAME FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON
 
FORMAL JUNIOR TRAINING WILL COMMENCE WEEK BEGINNING THE 11th OF SEPTEMBER

 

JUNIOR REGISTRATION AFTERNOON

This year junior registration will be held on Saturday the 10th of September starting with some roll up hockey at 4.30 (parents are most welcome to join in and play) followed by registration in the club room at 6.00 pm.  Registration is a great opportunity to get the whole junior section together, find out information regarding the season, ask questions and of course sort out paper work and payment. 

 

HELP

With the continued growth of the junior section the club is continually needing more help, this does not have to be hockey specific our biggest need is for people to help organise and coordinate things.  The more hands we have the better the opportunities we can offer to all our junior members.  The club is still looking for some one to take on the position of Junior Coordinator, Sara Cox has done a brilliant job over the last few seasons and the section really needs someone or a group who can take over and help lead the section for the season ahead.  If you think you can help out in any way please email Jimmy@bowdonclub.com or contact him on 0161 9281358.
